M4 Documentation:

This step opens a small subchain in which the data for the customers who have churned in the first of the two churn months under consideration is brought into the right representation. The two steps 'SelectSecondChurnMonthData' and 'SelectNonChurnersData' do the same for the customers who have churned in the other month and for those who have not churned. The reason for preparing the three groups of customers in the same way but in different subchains is that their respective six months periods overlap, so that data from certain months would be counted twice if the groups were not separated.
