M4 Documentation:

This step demonstrates the operator 'Pivotize'. Its input is daily weather data, its output is aggregated weather data. There is one data row per weather sensor and per day of measurement in the input, while only one row per weather sensor is in the output, because "SensorID" was used for the GroupBy attribute. For each combination of values of the location and weather-type attributes, the total amount of rain as recorded in the whole data set, is available in special attributes in the output of this step. This is achieved by using the rain attribute as the pivot attribute and the location and weather-type attributes as the index attributes.
